3What is the difference between OEM and ODM cosmetics?
ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) means you select from MetaCNBeauty’s existing catalog of ready-to-launch formulas and add your own branding. Lower MOQ, faster lead times, lower cost. Best for new brands and first launches.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) means we manufacture a product based on your custom formula, specifications, or benchmark sample. Higher MOQ, longer lead time, R&D cost involved. Best for established brands wanting a proprietary formula.
4What is the difference between ready-to-launch, private label, and custom formulation?
Ready-to-launch products are market-tested formulas from our ODM catalog. Suitable for brands that want to start quickly with a lower MOQ (from 100 PCS).
Private label is the broader service — selling products under your own brand name. Depending on order quantity, this can include logo printing, packaging customization, and selected formula adjustments.
Custom formulation is for brands that want a unique product based on their own idea, benchmark sample, texture, ingredients, or performance requirements.
5Is MetaCNBeauty GMP certified?
Yes. MetaCNBeauty holds two GMP certifications, both issued by DEKRA:
- ISO 22716:2007 GMP — Certificate No. DH2023GMP(B)0102, valid to October 2027
- GMPC — Certificate No. DH2023GMP(D)0102, valid to October 2027
All products are manufactured at our GMP-certified facility at No.25, Fu Yuan Yi Road, Hua Du District, Guangzhou, China.

6What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on the level of customization required:
- Ready-to-launch ODM products: MOQ from 100 PCS per product. Logo printing available.
- Minor customization (packaging changes, formula adjustments): Usually from around 10,000 PCS.
- Custom formulation (OEM): MOQ discussed case by case. Typically starts from 5,000–10,000 PCS.
7What information do you need from me to provide a quotation?
To quote accurately, please provide:
- Product type (e.g. lip gloss, mascara, serum)
- Quantity per product or shade
- Target market or selling country
- Formula requirements, if any
- Packaging requirements or preferences
- Logo or brand design files, if available
- Target retail price or budget range
- Expected launch timeline
- Reference product, images, or benchmark samples

8Can you help a new brand start from zero?
Yes. We guide new brands through every step — ready-to-launch ODM products, low MOQ options, sample testing, basic logo printing, and packaging advice. Our team communicates in English via WhatsApp and email.

9Can I order samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes — and we always recommend it. Samples let you check the formula, texture, shade, packaging quality, and overall product before committing to bulk production. Never place a bulk order without testing samples first.
10Do you charge for samples?
Yes, samples have a small cost. However, sample fees are credited back in full against your first qualifying bulk order — so sampling is effectively free when you proceed to bulk production with MetaCNBeauty.
11How much do samples cost?
Sample fees vary by product type and whether you require logo printing. Indicative ranges:
- Lip gloss, eyeliner, nail polish: $6–15 USD (regular) / $15–30 USD (logo)-Setup fees for logo printing are charged separately.
- Lipstick, mascara, foundation: $10–22 USD (regular) / $20–40 USD (logo)-Setup fees for logo printing are charged separately.
- Eyeshadow palette: $15–30 USD (regular) / $30–55 USD (logo)-Setup fees for logo printing are charged separately.
- Skincare serum, moisturiser: $12–28 USD (regular) / $22–45 USD (logo)-Setup fees for logo printing are charged separately.

12How do I order samples?
- Option 1 — Self-service: Purchase samples directly from our website product pages.
- Option 2 — Manual order: Send us screenshots of the products and shades you want via WhatsApp. Tell us the quantity and your delivery address. We will prepare a Proforma Invoice for your review.
Please also provide your name, company name, phone number, postal code, and full shipping address.
13What sample types do you offer?
- Regular samples (no logo): Ready-to-ship from our existing catalog. Dispatched in 3–5 business days.
- Custom logo samples: Your logo printed on the product and/or packaging. Dispatched in 7–15 business days.
- Custom formulation samples: Developed based on your formula brief or benchmark product. Timeline discussed case by case.
14Can the sample fee be deducted from the bulk order?
Yes. For qualifying projects, sample fees are credited back against your first bulk order invoice. Simply mention your sample order when placing your bulk order and our team will apply the credit to your Proforma Invoice.

15How long does it take to prepare samples?
- Regular samples (no logo): 3–5 business days to prepare and dispatch
- Custom logo samples: 7–15 business days
- Custom formulation samples: Typically 15–30 days depending on product type and complexity
16What is the bulk order lead time?
- ODM small bulk (100–500 PCS): 7–15 business days after final confirmation
- ODM larger bulk (500+ PCS): 15–25 business days
- OEM custom formula: 45–90 days depending on formula complexity, raw material sourcing, and packaging
Final lead time confirmed after product details, quantity, and packaging are finalised.
17Can you help with packaging design and logo printing?
Yes. We support logo placement, label design, outer box design, product artwork, and packaging sourcing. For small orders (100–999 PCS), packaging customization is limited to logo printing on existing packaging. For higher quantities (1,000+ PCS), more flexible packaging options are available.
We accept logo files in AI, EPS, PDF (preferred), or PNG at 300 DPI minimum. Pantone color references recommended.

18What shipping methods do you offer?
For sample orders:
- Express shipping (DHL, FedEx, UPS) — 3–8 business days to most destinations
- Standard shipping — 8–15 business days, more economical
For bulk orders:
- Express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS) — best for small bulk
- Air freight — 5–10 days, suitable for medium volume
- Sea freight — 20–40 days, most economical for large bulk
19How is sample shipping charged?
Shipping is charged by weight tier. The first 1 kg normally has a fixed minimum shipping cost. To save on freight, we recommend selecting several samples together in one shipment if possible.
20What export documents do you provide with bulk orders?
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Certificate of Analysis (COA)
- MSDS / Safety Data Sheet
- Certificate of Origin
- HS codes for customs classification
- Full INCI ingredient list
💰 Payment
21What payment methods does MetaCNBeauty accept?
We accept USD and RMB payments via:
- Bank transfer (T/T, SWIFT)
- PayPal
- Alipay
- MoneyGram
- Western Union
- Other agreed methods
The final payment account and amount will be shown clearly on the Proforma Invoice.
22What are the payment terms for bulk orders?
Payment terms are tiered by order size:
- Tier 1 — Up to 999 PCS or under $5,000 USD: 100% advance payment upon order confirmation
- Tier 2 — 1,000–9,999 PCS or $5,000–$9,999 USD: 75% deposit upon confirmation, 25% balance before shipment
- Tier 3 — 10,000+ PCS or $10,000+ USD: 50% deposit upon confirmation, 50% balance before shipment
In the event of a conflict between order quantity and order value, the higher tier’s deposit requirement shall apply.

23Can MetaCNBeauty help with compliance documents?
Yes. We can provide:
- Full INCI ingredient list — provided with every sample and bulk order
- MSDS / SDS — provided with every order
- COA (Certificate of Analysis) — batch-specific quality test results
- Certificate of Origin — confirms country of manufacture
- Product specifications — formula and packaging specifications
For specific markets (US FDA MoCRA, EU EC 1223/2009, UK SCPN, Canada, GCC, Australia), requirements vary. Please advise your target selling country before production.
24Are MetaCNBeauty products vegan and cruelty-free?
Many MetaCNBeauty ODM formulas are vegan — free from beeswax (Cera Alba), lanolin, carmine (CI 75470), and other animal-derived ingredients. We can confirm vegan status for specific products on request.
MetaCNBeauty does not conduct animal testing. Products manufactured for export are not subject to China’s domestic animal testing requirements.
25Can I sell MetaCNBeauty products on Amazon?
Yes. Our products are suitable for Amazon FBA and FBM. We provide the INCI ingredient list, MSDS, and COA required for Amazon listings. For Amazon US, ensure compliance with FDA cosmetics regulations. For Amazon EU, products must comply with EU Regulation EC 1223/2009 and be notified via CPNP.
